Matcha is the ultimate form of green tea. It is an excellent source of the antioxidant EGCG, a nutrient that promotes healthy cellular function, and supports all of the systems in the body. Matcha also contains the amino acid L-theanine, which calms while simultaneously enhancing focus, memory and concentration. Since Matcha is made up of extremely finely ground green tea leaves, it is high in caffeine which also helps boost energy. There are a variety of recipes for matcha beverages, pick one depending on your taste!

Matcha Latte

  • 1 sifted teaspoon of matcha powder

  • 12 ounces of boiling water – stir until well blended

  • add 6 ounces of steamed almond milk or lowfat milk

Pure Matcha

  • 1 sifted teaspoon of matcha powder

  • 12 ounces of boiling water – stir until well blended

Iced Tea with a shot of Matcha

  • ½ teaspoon of sifted matcha powder

  • 3 ounces of boiling water

  • stir the matcha until well blended
